      Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) is a clinicopathological condition hallmarked by esophageal eosinophilia >15 per high powered field(hpf) on biopsy. EoE symptomatology has considerable overlap with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). No symptom patterns accurately distinguish the conditions without a biopsy.
